The apparel is the only article exclusive to the deluxe edition at this time I believe, but I care nothing for the cosmetics and so I tell you with this bias that there is nothing worthwhile that cannot be simply earned by playing the game. So in the spirit of honesty and fair assessment, no - the deluxe variant is unworthy of your money. Having bought the deluxe edition when it was a pre-order, I can tell you that you are granted a paltry sum of player points that can be expended on shop items (not enough that you cannot earn the same sum by simply playing the game), given a slight advance on your golfer level (I think an amount of experience equivalent to level 14, which can be earned by playing a few full rounds of golf, or within the span of an hour or two's time also, this experience is only given out once and on your first-created golfer profile, meaning that if you decide you do not like the first profile you created, or make a second golfer, you will gain no experience for that new profile), and given a few articles of exclusive apparel and paraphernalia for your golfer profiles, all of it based on Masters, US Open, and The Players tournaments.
